Hello, I am a psychologist with 30 years of experience. My specialties are primarily in the treatment of stress and anxiety in all their various forms and with all their various symptoms. I find that anxieties are often at the root of most of our problems. Worries, insecurities, fears of failure, abandonment, and rejection are very powerful and can cause great suffering and stress. They can make us feel isolated and alone. We feel and do our best when we are confident in ourselves, have a healthy self image and esteem, and when stress and anxiety are kept minimal and well managed.
I work with a gentle, but structured approach to help clients find the painful roots of the current problems, explore those experiences, and heal the pain/shame attached to them. My clients develop healthy thinking and behaviors, positive moods and actions. For those interested, I also include Christian faith for additional healing and neurofeedback.
