I am a Somatic Therapist and I help people get out of pain and decrease stress with coaching, movement and mindfulness. In Somatic Therapy, the focus is on the whole person: body, mind, spirit, and emotions. When we become more aware of how these things are interrelated we can begin to work with them and make changes. We practice being more present in the current moment through the conscious use of movement, stillness, and focus. Through this process, we can achieve optimal health and develop our full potential.
Somatic Therapy uses many different modalities to help you with your goals for healing. Sessions are by phone or video-conferencing and can include: stretching and exercise, meditation, mindfulness, Reiki, bodywork, Somatic exercises, artwork and coaching. Together, we build strategies to transform pain and stress so you can live a happier, healthier life.
Throughout my life, I have been interested in the relationship between the body and the mind. I have worked in many different roles and have had the opportunity to help people of all ages with many types of issues. I am deeply honored to have witnessed so many people find peace, healing and more happiness in their lives. I look forward to hearing from you!
