How is everybody doing? If you are feeling overwhelmed, confused, or exhausted, I assure you, you are not alone. We are living in extraordinary times. Times that require we change. But how and to what? My areas of expertise include grief and loss, trauma, and transitions across the life span. I came to my work as a psychotherapist by first working through the body where I found a deep body/mind connection I could not ignore. Throughout my work in this field, I have facilitated psychoeducation and support groups in diverse contexts, including as an adjunct professor developing courses in a counseling psychology graduate program.
I have worked in an IOP, in a rape-crisis agency, and in community mental health. Each of these have profoundly changed me and my view about people. Yes, we have our differences, but really, we all want the same things. We want to feel we belong. We want to feel we are understood. We want to feel we matter.
What I offer is a holding space that is gentle, loving, directive at times, yet safe—a space from which to establish attainable goals, identify obstacles, and bring greater presence and joy to your life. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to embark on this transformative journey with you.
