If you are struggling with the impacts of trauma, depression, addiction, or unhealthy relationships or just looking to increase positive coping, I can help. I offer education and evidence-based techniques to enhance understanding and to build confidence in managing the thoughts, feelings and behaviors that contribute to distress or that block us from living the life we want to live. Difficult past experiences can shape the way we cope in the present, influencing our behavior in ways that can keep us from being truly happy. I believe we all can heal and every person has the capacity for growth and transformation
I tailor therapy to address your particular concerns and needs. I help couples bring awareness to their emotional experience to facilitate more effective communication and connection while identifying unhelpful patterns leading to distress. I help facilitate the development of more effective strategies for getting needs met based on safety and trust.
My approach to therapy is integrative. I draw from various psychological and scientific theories such as attachment theory, depth psychology, neurobiology, and mindful self-compassion. I empower clients to reclaim their lives and build a future defined by meaning, purpose, and hope. If you think we may be a good fit, let's talk.
