Bereavement Group

Even though everyone griefs differently this group is a "peer" group, made up of people who are dealing with the same or a similar loss. It will include moments of deep sadness (that's why God created tissue paper) and also allows for humor & laughter giving you an emotional connection especially when support from family & friends has diminished and you feel isolated but still need to talk about the loss with people who understand. It's an opportunity to express your emotions you might otherwise keep to yourself. That alone will help to improve your mood and decrease distress and delayed grief.
