My name is Sima Braude. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Los Angeles, California, working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adult individuals and specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal issues, maternal mental health using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, elements of psychodynamic therapy and employing existential approach to therapy in general. I offer eclectic approach to therapy and work collaboratively with my clients to individualize our work together to meet their needs maximally.
My approach is a good fit with adult individuals who may be faced with life transitions, have history of trauma, are immigrants or have multicultural background. As a result they may experience varied levels of anxiety, mood fluctuations, relational/occupational issues. My style and knowledge also is good fit in working with peripartum parents.
I collaborate with my clients in building necessary skills to cope with transitions and live their lives to the fullest potential as authentically as possible. My sessions are structured, I collaborate with my clients while offering safe non judgement space for them to explore/learn/discover and thrive.
