Hi, I'm Sierra! I am a licensed therapist with experience helping people cope with anxiety, recover from depression, or heal from the impact of trauma. I strive to cultivate a space where clients can thoughtfully identify their goals and move toward a life that feels authentic and hopeful. Working with a new therapist can feel daunting, so I get to know each person on a human level with compassion and a bit of humor. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly, gender-affirming, sex positive, and love to incorporate mind-body skills into sessions.
My career in social work spans over ten years via support group facilitation, mental health crisis management, clinical internships, and training. Much of my professional work has been focused on the experience of trauma survivors, first responders, queer people, and those in healing professions.
Sometimes change can feel so far away, but I firmly believe each of us can become the person we want to be and create a life full of meaning; we just might not have the right tools yet.
