I use EMDR, DBT, and Somatic interventions and successfully treated PTSD and mood disorders by increasing awareness of the nervous system/sensory integration/social skills that need boosting for connection.
When working with my clients with trauma I often see survivors in the most distant places becoming alive again. I have supported them in reconnecting with their values, regain trust and relearning to connect to their life in a grounded way. Sessions always incorporate the mind and body.
