I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I received my B.A. in psychology, with a minor in neurobiology, from Harvard University, and my Psy.D. from the George Washington University. I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Family Compass, a child and family group practice in Reston, VA, where I specialized in neuropsychological assessment and therapy services for children and adolescents. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including: Children's National Medical Center, JLG-RICA (a residential and day treatment facility for children and adolescents), and private group practices.
I have extensive experience conducting neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations for children and adolescents with attention and learning challenges, as well as other behavioral and social emotional concerns. I also have significant experience consulting with schools and working closely with a variety of mental health and educational professionals.
With regard to therapy, I utilize an integrative approach, incorporating CBT and Family Systems techniques. Treatment goals are discussed with the child/adolescent and family, and are developed with the individual's needs in mind. In addition to my private practice, I am an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology at the George Washington University.
