I am a licensed independent social worker who works with adults and seniors. I have two decades experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, school/work related challenges, LGBTQ issues and disability concerns. I have experience working with grief and loss as well as life transitions. My focus is bringing a sense of balance and health into my client's lives.
I believe therapy can be a catalyst for positive change. I empower and strengthen my clients’ ability to identify and address their goals. I use a client-centered, interpersonal, emotion-focused approach as the theoretical foundation of my practice. I use skills in CBT, ACT, mindfulness and motivational interviewing to help my clients.
