Sherron aspires to create a counseling environment that is centered around the client. Forging a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients, she works with each individual to explore their strengths and needs. After receiving her master’s degree, Sherron gained experience through several different types of therapeutic settings including drug and alcohol rehabilitation, domestic violence, the school system, foster care, and working with individuals with disabilities. These experiences have enabled her to utilize various modalities of treatment.
Sherron is experienced working with children, adults, individuals in the LGBQT community, spiritual/religious individuals, as well as individuals who are non-spiritual/religious. To better serve clients modalities she utilizes include person centered, strength based, CBT, ACT, MI, family systems, faith-based, and strength-based.
In addition to enjoying working with people, Sherron also enjoys reading, creative writing, and watching movies/ documentaries in her spare time.
