I bring over twenty-five years of experience to my therapy practice, and have helped clients achieve life-changing results. I provide effective therapy services to those who have been affected by painful life experiences--large and small, recent and long ago. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, losses, or stress, we now know that painful life experiences are what underlie most symptoms that have been labeled as mental health disorders. I ask what happened to you, since our beliefs about ourselves are affected by trauma, and by the messages that significant people in our lives send us with their words and behaviors.
I am someone who continues to seek training in effective therapies that achieve positive outcomes in less time. I find EMDR very effective, a therapy specific to healing painful life experiences, and have been using it in my practice for 20 years. Due to Covid19, I will work with you through a HIPAA compliant teletherapy platform for safety and convenience.
I am holistic in my practice, teaching mindfulness tools and utilizing research in the field of Positive Psychology. My clients tell me that I have a compassionate, calming presence that they find very soothing.
