I am that person you can turn to when your friends and family can’t be bothered, especially if they’re too busy with their own lives. If what you want is to connect with someone who sees you, takes you seriously, and won’t tell you to get over yourself, I’m your counselor. I help people from lots of backgrounds make sense of the crazy things that happened to them as children. Sure I treat kids for trauma, but adults who are still living with childhood trauma need just as much and sometimes more care than the minors. Let’s have a complementary consultation. I use trauma-informed treatments to help people understand and accept their true selves apart from the pain inflicted by others. I work with people’s history and memories to reprocess their past. I teach parents stress-reducing ways to respond to their children’s behaviors, and how to change the home environment to make it harder for kids to misbehave
