I strive to provide a safety net in therapy, free from judgment and shame, so that my clients feel safe to explore their relational and erotic desires, practice articulating their needs and boundaries in relationships, and touch on any shadowy parts that need attention and grace. As well as being able to provide general individual and couples support in therapy, I have specialized education and training in working with sexual concerns related to sexual dysfunctions, painful sex, shame or anxiety around sex, and improvement in pleasure. I bring a calm, knowledgeable, and sex positive presence to our exploration of sexual intimacy.
I have experience working with people from all walks of life, backgrounds, and identities, but there is a special place in my heart for those who have histories of trauma or abuse. Other communities and presenting concerns I love working with are the LGBT+ community, sexual dysfunctions, kink/BDSM, anxiety, self-worth, PTSD/C-PTSD, couples, and individuals.
Pain and suffering are often unavoidable, yet so many of us avoid looking at the parts of ourselves that have been hurt or fill us with shame. My goal with my clients is to help them look at themselves, their life experiences, and their desires with more compassion and confidence.
