We all have intrusive thoughts, and there will never be a time during our work together that the thoughts you share will carry judgment. As a therapist, I love witnessing people reclaim their lives and rebuild their confidence to integrate the things that bring them joy. At NOCD, my team and I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for people with OCD. Our deep understanding of the nuances and intricacies of OCD enables us to properly diagnose and treat it. We have received intensive training in Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP)—the gold standard treatment for OCD.
When you start with NOCD, you’ll either work with me or be paired with one of my colleagues, depending on your preferences. We’ll get to know you and create a personalized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. Plus, we offer support between sessions through direct messaging and a community of peers with OCD, ensuring you never feel alone.
We will intentionally challenge your fears and lean into uncertainty. This might feel scary, especially if you cannot remember a life without OCD. But if you are willing to try it out and withstand the discomfort, you can expect to see profound and positive changes in your life.
