I work with children, teens, and young adults struggling with a variety of mental health issues. I specifically specialize in pre-teen/teen. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, family discord, academic issues, suicidal ideation, and more. With therapy, I recognize that each person come to counseling for their own unique reasons/needs. With this, I aim to meet people where they're at and work through their problems every step so they can reach the goals that they have for themselves or their families.
I specialize in art therapy and use an interpersonal approach. I love giving the kids the ability to utilize art and incorporate art into my sessions, but I understand if art is not for everyone, and that is perfectly okay. My background has given me the tools to work with those navigating adoption, autism, depression, anxiety, and defiance.
I feel the best part of my job is learning and connecting with everyone no matter where they are on their journey. Taking the first step and seeking therapy can be challenging due to this I work on looking at the whole person and walking alongside them in their journey.
