I work with clients, male and female, age 12 and older. The individuals and couples who come to see me are struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship conflicts, behavioral issues, or the need for personal growth and development. Besides my education, training, and continued desire to learn as a therapist, I bring my own life experiences that enrich what I have to offer my clients.
My first focus is to develop a trusting relationship with my client which I believe is the basis for change. I then partner with my client to help them identify their specific goals for coming to therapy, and assist them in achieving those goals.
I strive to create an environment and atmosphere of safety, comfort, and trust so my client will take the risk needed to move beyond where they currently find themselves.
