I work with adolescents, adults and couples utilizing an integrated therapeutic approach with an emphasis on psychodynamic, attachment and cognitive perspectives. I have experience with a broad range of issues, including depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, trauma, personality disorders, grief and loss, family of origin conflicts, life transitions, work stress and marital problems.
I believe that therapy should provide a safe and non-judgmental place where clients can come to explore and resolve the problems and conflicts, both conscious and unconscious, that are keeping them from fully flourishing. I have a special interest in individuals and couples experiencing conflicts around money and the handling of the finances.
I have found that many couples experience disagreement and stress around the handling of the family finances and have a particular interest in working with folks to understand and address these conflicts. I have office locations in Oakton, Ashburn and Burke, Virginia. Evening and weekend hours are available.
