Hi, my name is Shayna. I am a neurodiversity affirming therapist who specializes in ADHD, Autism and Eating Disorders. As an AuDHD'er myself, I combine my lived experience and my vast training to provide the most empathetic and effective strategies to guide you to authentically living according to your needs and values. If you are suffering from depression or anxiety or if you struggle to connect with people and maintain relationships, I can help you learn how to understand yourself and your unique needs and teach you skills on how to create a life that works for you.
I am trained in Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO-DBT) and I mainly use this modality to deepen your self awareness and to gain insight into how you cope with life's challenges. Once we understand your coping patterns, we can develop creative skills and solutions that build on what is working for you and change what's not.

RO-DBT Skills Class
Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills Class: weekly class to develop skills to manage perfectionistic coping styles, chronic depression, and anxiety. The skills target relationship enhancement, coping with difficult emotions such as shame and envy, and increasing self awareness of coping patterns. RO-DBT has shown to be effective for treating chronic depression, hyper vigilance (trauma), eating disorders, obsessive compulsive personality disorder. It is ideal for someone who struggles with perfectionism, comparisons, rigid thought patterns and distant relationships.
