My name is Shawnta Brent a Licensed Independent Professional Counselor, CEO of Peace N Tranquility Counseling Service. I have experience working with families, couples, individuals ages 3- an up . I also have experience treating clients with various diagnosis and symptoms related to depression, anxiety, grief, ADD/ADHD, mood disorders, relationship problems, single moms, and daily stressors. My background has been working with clients in mental health agencies, school settings, and therapeutic settings for children/adults. My approach with counseling is focused on rSolution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches.
My goal is to help any indiviudal/couple or family bring peace/hope back into their daily lives. I will teach skills for coping the stressors of daily living. I utilize the different therapy models to help execute the goals that are set by clients seeking counseling.
