Dr. Blood helps children, adolescents and young adults (25 yo). Primary concerns include OCD, tics, learning disabilities, and executive dysfunction. Dr. Blood is trained to treat Tourette Syndrome, complex and simple tics with the behavioral therapy CBIT. Special interest in higher performers and youth athletes; trained in mindfulness based techniques to improve performance. Can provide parenting only sessions for parents who would like to better support their child(ren). Virtual & Cash ONLY.
Dr. Blood works primarily from an ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) perspective, but she also incorporates faith, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and MI (Motivational Interviewing) to meet your needs. Also specially trained in CBIT for tics. Dr. Blood makes every effort to understand each client she serves in a caring and honest manner.
Please note, Dr. Blood does not have an office location so care is provided via HIPAA compliant video sessions as well as in-school session as the school allows. Dr. Blood is only taking a limited amount of private patients in order to provide the best care. Dr. Blood does NOT accept insurance but will provide a SuperBill to submit to insurance upon request.
