Through a collaborative and compassionate approach, I work to create a safe space where you can feel heard, understood, and validated. My goal is to help clients achieve their goals, improve their relationships, and enhance their overall well-being. We often look to the past to identify our core beliefs that guide our current worldview, priorities, and decision making. We have been learning these "core beliefs" about ourselves and the world since before we could walk and sometimes we stop integrating new observations and we become stuck. You can get unstuck with Shauna.
Learning to trust ourselves and to listen to our intuition is a critical part of the healing process. I specialize in adult-diagnosed ADD/ADHD, relationship difficulties, adjusting to life transitions (ie: married/divorced, new career, empty nest) anxieties, and early attachment traumas. I approach therapy from a curious, strength-based systems perspective.
Healing happens best in environments where we feel safe enough to explore with self-compassion and acceptance while knowing that we won't be judged for whatever we find. Being companioned during this process by someone who holds space for you plays a critical role in your healing journey. When you are ready, I will hold space for you.
