I offer traditional talk therapy as well as EMDR therapy, both virtually and in person. I enjoy working with people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, and believe everyone is on an individual path. There is no one size fits all treatment or set of goals. Together, you and I will identify what you would like to see different in your life and how to help you feel better. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and am psychodynamically oriented in my work.
I am inquisitive by nature and tend to ask questions, so my sessions are typically more discussion oriented. While therapy may feel uncomfortable at first, I provide support and empathy to go at your pace.
Sometimes people have difficulty reaching out to a therapist if they have had a bad experience in the past or they have never gone to therapy before. I believe in meeting people where they are in order to provide a positive, healing environment.
