My 33 year practice will compassionately guide you through your life's challenges, helping you build the emotional muscle to take over my job. I work with couples, individuals, families, & groups, specializing in the Developmental Model of Couple Therapy, including infidelity & sex therapy. I am an attuned, practical, neuro-psychologically current researcher, a seeker-willing to coach strategically. We work towards re-finding your innate sense of well-being, your authenticity & the skills needed to build & sustain meaningful and supportive relationships, most especially with yourself.
I offer an ongoing interpersonal group therapy that is a safe space to explore relating better with others and feeling better about yourself. If you are dissatisfied in relationships, often disappointed, angry or hurt, group helps you learn to communicate your thoughts & feelings productively & explore how you come across to others. All are welcome.
Warm & direct, you can expect feedback, compassion & healing laughter. I work well with high conflict couples/families. Couple work is structured with clarity & homework. I've authored 6 books published in 11 languages, had a past career as a vocalist. I'm on the B.O.D. at Osa Wildlife Sanctuary, working to rescue/release animals into the rainforest.
