My name is Dr. ShaRone David Kushnir. I am a dual licensed psychologist & mental health counselor, while also a certified professional life coach. I am a professional member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and a forensic specialist qualified by the Department of Child & Family Services (DCF). My clinical background involves the evaluation & treatment of severe psychopathology including psychotic disorders such as Bipolar and Schizophrenia, personality disorders, addiction, trauma and PTSD.
I provide concierge services in private, as well as clinics, forensic hospitals, and retreats abroad. Evaluations involve psychological, neuropsychological, competency-to-stand-trial, and related risk assessments. Treatment involves a multidisciplinary fusion of behavioral science, Torah-based shamanism & indigenous medicine where appropriate by law.
Deeply humanistic & client-centered, drawing upon psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral & acceptance-commitment therapies, I am best able to help clients who struggle with various compulsions and addictions, anxiety & depression, trauma and PTSD, while also couples or families in need of parenting enrichment, co-parenting, or support in their relationships.
