There are many struggles that humans may endure during their time on earth that include, but are not limited to, mental health concerns. If one notices that things have been different and they haven't been feeling as though they’re functioning to the best of their ability, I would love to be able to provide the support needed towards returning to a healthier state of mind. I pride myself in providing an environment that is non-judgmental, and safe. I also would like for clients to know that experiencing mental health concerns is nothing to be ashamed of, and that seeking therapy and looking for solutions is a brave step to take!
I am a therapist that mostly uses the methods of CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy), and Solution-Focused Therapy. I always try my best to walk along-side and collaborate with my clients; therefore, I am also open to using other treatment methods. One particular style of therapy will not work for every client, and that's okay.
As someone who has witnessed loved ones struggle with mental illness, I have seen the toll that it may take on the individual, family, and their friends. I have also witnessed the positive impact that therapy can have on the lives of everyone involved. This is why I've chosen this line of work, so that I can be involved in positive change and mental health.
