My focus is on creating a treatment plan based on the individual client’s needs, strengths, resources and goals. Helping people get connected with their community and other professional resources that will help them reach their goals more effectively is critical. I work well with both men's challenges and and women's issues. We often get closed in by a set of assumptions about ourselves and our relationships that keep us from reaching truly attainable changes. It is exciting to watch the growth and change that people are able to make as they discover hidden resources for transformation within themselves.
I enjoy working with and have sought out specialized post-graduate training for working with couples, survivors of trauma [EMDR trained] and both men & women with eating disorders [anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder]. I also seem to have a gift for working with kids who are isolated due to video game addiction.
Appointments available: Monday - Thursday. Initial sessions and marital sessions: 90 minutes. Individual sessions: 50 minutes. I do not file with insurance but can provide a statement or assist you in filing. Cash, check preferred. M/C or Visa accepted.
