Welcome- I'm Shantik. Are you seeking balance and connection in your life? Maybe there are barriers in the way of living the life you see for yourself? I'm here to help with that. I focus on creating a caring relationship with you, teaching healthy coping skills, and giving support for life's obstacles. Two things I adore most in life are meeting new people and laughter! I have never met a stranger and never intend to. One of my biggest strengths is that I am open minded. My philosophy is that you come as you are so that you can be as comfortable as possible.
I’m a Jersey girl who was Texas raised. I graduated in 2011 from Texas Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Shortly after I attended Texas Woman's University, where I graduated with a Master of Science in Counseling and Development in 2015.
I provide a supportive environment where individuals are able to explore issues such as trauma and life circumstances, leading to healing. The modalities that I use are Existential Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, CBT, Trauma-Focused Behavioral Therapy, DBT, and more.
