I knew at a young age that I wanted to be a counselor, having experienced first-hand the effects of substance abuse in my own family. This has given me a strong foundation from which to be present to others. My approach to therapy includes the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness. I have many years of experience working with adolescents and adults with addictions and dual disorders.
I am a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with a Masters degree in Counseling, who provides individual counseling for teens, young adults, adults, and older adults. Areas of specialization include addictions/substance abuse, anxiety, stress management, depression, and mood disorders.
