Life happens. Sometimes the things we experience in life are a bit too much to handle on our own, a bit too personal to talk to friends about, and a bit too complicated to rely on self-help gurus. That’s where I come into the picture! My goal is help you work through issues that may be hindering you, your child/teen, or your family. Whether anxiety, depression, trauma, family issues, child/teen struggles, I would love to help get things back on track.
I am a trauma-focused therapist. Most of my clients have experienced some form of trauma (Trauma). Using EMDR and TF-CBT techniques, I help clients process the trauma. I also work with other areas of focus such as depression and anxiety.
I have over 10 years of experience in social services in various capacities. The bulk of my experience is with family and children experiencing some tough life circumstances which include abuse, neglect, family dysfunction, trauma, and DHR involvement. I have also worked with children in Foster Care and their foster families.
