Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Art Therapist providing services in Cumberland, RI. I utilize traditional talk therapy as well as Art Therapy to assist clients in addressing emotional and behavioral concerns. Clients and I collaborate to identify goals, improve coping and increase self-awareness in a judgement free therapeutic environment.
In art therapy we will use art materials to encourage self-expression, increase self-awareness and enhance the processes of traditional talk therapy. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) sessions strategies are taught to help address unhealthy thought patterns and self-destructive behavior including self-harm.
