As a therapist, I am dedicated to creating a safe and calming space for people to explore their needs on a journey to healing and wellness. I have a relational style of therapy that looks to your goals, experiences and strengths in order to meet your unique needs. I work individually with adults and couples who are struggling with loss, anxiety, depression, life transitions and trauma. I will meet you where you are with empathy and intuition. I have experience working with clients across gender, ethnic, generational and religious differences and incorporate spirituality into the therapeutic process when desired by clients.
I work collaboratively out of strengths-based, trauma informed, solutions-focused theory. I incorporate evidence-based cognitive behavior therapy and motivational interviewing, but use an eclectic approach to meet your specific needs in a way that makes sense to you.
I have eight years experience working specifically with grief, loss and end of life issues. I am also trained in dealing with domestic violence and gender issues and have great interest in joining women on a healing journey after loss or abuse.
