Shannon Ackal is a Licensed Psychologist/Clinical Neuropsychologist with over 15 years of experience conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a broad spectrum of neurocognitive, developmental, medical, and psychiatric conditions. She has had the privilege of training and working in a wide variety of settings including inpatient facilities, hospitals, and private practices. Shannon believes that understanding how our unique brain works is a critical process to understanding the client as a "whole."

Understanding the “why” behind certain behaviors, emotions, “hard” things, and “easy” things often helps individuals to remove feelings of self-blame and doubt, as well as target areas for intervention.
