I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Counselor Educator & Supervisor specializing in racial and health equity for Black, and Indigenous, and People of Color. With over a decade of direct care in behavioral health and two years of experience in research, I aspire to adapt therapeutic approaches to effectively treat diverse populations; Understanding cultural, historical, and societal factors that shape the human experience, our sense of being, meaning and purpose, and relationships is core to my clinical approach.
In our first session, clients can expect to be oriented to the nature and purpose of the therapeutic relationship. Clients will verbally review the informed consent, protocols for crises and key personnel to contact, safety measures, and information provided in the intake.
Personal experience has allowed me to actively be in a stage of seeking meaning, purpose, and striving towards fulfillment.
