Hello! My name is Shamika Milliken. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with many years of Social Work and Counseling experience, within a variety settings. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Elizabeth City State University, and later received my Master of Social Work Degree from University of New England. I am dedicated and passionate about my work as a therapist. I feel very grateful to be able to help individuals discover their strengths and learn new skills that will allow them to cope with life unpredictable challenges.
My work is characterized by honesty, acceptance, attunement, and partnership; exploring your strengths, adaptability, and resourcefulness. I have over 15 yrs of experience ranging from Anxiety, Depression, Grief/Loss, Health Issues, Self esteem Issues, ADHD, and Adjustment disorders.
