Accepting New Clients- You are a woman who already has insight and awareness into your difficulties and challenges, but are looking for a therapist to pull it all together and meet you halfway. You struggle with anxiety at times; overthinking, negative thinking and sometimes can not get out of your own way. Things from the past cloud your mind. You understand how your thoughts can be irrational but you have a hard time moving past the "feeling" of how you feel. You want tools and ways to navigate your anxiety and life's ebbs and flows but also ways to cope with what we may not be able to change.
In my practice, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to process your thoughts and call out unhelpful thinking patterns in conjunction with mindfulness practices. We will explore techniques to calm your nervous system and be more grounded and present to alleviate symptoms. We will process and work on the things we can not change but focus on what we can.
