I specialize in working with individuals struggling with substance abuse disorders and process addictions including but not limited to gambling and pornography. I take a client centered approach and use techniques such as CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. As an LMSW I am supervised and supported by the practice owner.
As a husband and father I understand that rarely is there a perfect time to make a big transformation. As a person in recovery I have learned that when we fail to act change can be imposed upon us through personal, legal and professional consequences.
