Whether you're all in or just exploring the therapy "option" - I meet you where you are, and challenge you along the way. I provide psychotherapy for teens & young adults - ages 12-29. (Though sometimes work with other age adults.) Many of my clients struggle with substance abuse, anxiety, depression as well as concerns like attention deficit and life transtiions. My approach is to partner with you on your journey to the best version of yourself. This means both Empowering Change and Honoring Courage. Let me put my experience to work helping you or your family member navigate whatever challenges you may be facing.
After over 20 years working in higher education, I can help students and their families with the education transitions, such as (1) understanding how to get school help for ADD/ADHD, depression/ anxiety, etc. (2) navigating resources, and (3) helping with the adjustment to the new schools or the college environment.
In therapy, there really are no miracle cures. I cannot promise that your behavior or circumstances will change. I can promise to support you and do my very best to understand you. I provide an open and affirming environment of care because we all deserve to be acknowledged, appreciated, and accepted.
