Hello there, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about self-discovery, exploration, and healing. I am passionate to help individuals improve their satisfaction and happiness in their lives. My approach is Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy (SFT). CBT treatment involves identifying and challenging negative or distorted thoughts. SFT treatment involves identifying goals and developing a plan to achieve those goals.
Growing up, I always enjoyed listening to other people and being there for them. I enjoyed helping friends and family with their struggles without judging them. During my undergrad, I took a few psychology courses, and I was fascinated with everything that I was learning about mind and behavior, and then I decided to pursue my Master's in psychotherapy.
I will first start by introducing myself, explaining limits of confidentiality and obtaining information from their current level of functioning and assisting them to identify their treatment goals based on their needs.
