Relationships are essential for human survival and play a key role in influencing individuals to grow and become better versions of themselves. Various types of relationships, such as romantic, intimate, family, and professional, contribute to human development. Each dynamic has the potential to impact one's quality of life, either positively or negatively. Healthy relationships contribute to well-being, life satisfaction, and better physical and mental health. However, when relationships become challenging, they can lead to emotional distress, poor mental health, and feelings of isolation.
As a trauma informed therapist, my goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment where you can explore your emotional needs and openly discuss any challenges. I am dedicated to helping clients heal from PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief from the loss of a loved one, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and difficult family dynamics, as well as workplace stress.
I offer goal-oriented, strength-based counseling, using approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. Together, we will develop strategies to enhance your problem-solving skills and empower you to become the best version of yourself.
