There are times in our lives we could all use guidance to help live our best life. We do not have to walk this journey alone. The stigma that needing help is a weakness or somehow a failure is far from the truth. I provide a safe space for helping you reach your goals. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, anger, grief, or just want to make lasting positive change, I can help. Clients remark I seem to have a knack for getting to core issues in therapy. I have been on both sides of the couch and appreciate the courage it takes to make that first call to enlist a guide.
I began my career working with children and adolescents. For the past 19 years I have worked in a variety of settings specializing in substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, anger and trauma resolution. I started a private practice in 2013. Since then, I have worked with adults, seniors and adolescents.
In early 2022, I had to rethink everything I knew when I was sidelined with multiple illnesses. Time away focusing on my own healing has deepened my empathy and skills. I took the time away from my practice to learn even more therapy modalities to help others. I now include coping with medical conditions and chronic illness as part of my skill set.
