I work with couples and individuals who are seeking to make positive changes in their life. I view therapy as a collaborative process where I act as a guide and facilitator providing you with new ways of understanding your experience and the necessary tools to grow beyond your current struggles. Together we will identify dysfunctional beliefs and behaviors that act as blocks to your growth and happiness. I'm also a clinical supervisor that provides supervision to associate counselors pursuing licensure. I'm passionite about helping new clinicians develop their craft.
When working with couples I provide a structured approach based on the research of John Gottman where you will learn proven methods of communication and conflict resolution. In my work with individuals I tailor my approach to your situation drawing from mindfulness based cognitive therapy, attachment science, and existential themes of meaning.
Underlying any of the techniques I employ is an approach that values authentic communication as the foundation for our work. My goal is to leave you with a greater sense of freedom and empowerment to live fuller and richer lives.
