I am so grateful that you clicked me! My name is Sean Collins. I have worked in the social service field for over 10 years! I started off working with youth and families with DCFS involvement as a residential therapist. I am very proud of being able to reunite families, break negative generational patterns, and provide my clients with a clearer path to success. I have a wealth of experience in working with trauma and other anxiety-related disorders. I have also worked with clients who experienced attachment problems, domestic abuse, sexual, emotional and physical abuse, and developmental issues.
I use talk therapy, art therapy, and I am trauma informed. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral and Adlerian therapy, which supports my clients in gaining insight into how their behaviors, feelings, and actions impact how they see themselves and the world around them. I am also formally trained in ARC therapy (Attachment, Regulation, and Competency).
