Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming and uncomfortable. As a therapist, I strive to provide an open, nonjudgmental, and welcoming space for you to explore and grow as an individual. I work collaboratively with adults of all ages and in all stages of life to help foster insight and growth in the present while giving voice and validation to the past.

Virginia Jones is NOT accepting new clients at this time. Clients who find my services helpful oftentimes have daily self-care lacking, experiencing low mood and a general dissatisfaction with life. Some just feel that things should be different but feel helpless to make these changes or have tried over and over to change with no clear results. They want and need to feel better and are looking to feel they can manage the day without overwhelming fear or crippling anxiety.

From anxiety, depression, trauma and all the places in between – using a person-centered approach, I partner with you to create a personal plan for healing.

I love working with those who are ready for a change in their life, whether that be with their mood, behaviors, thoughts, or relationships. I've had the opportunity to work with and help many who identify as feeling anxious, depressed, struggling with relationships or communication, or those looking to overcome current or past trauma. I have witnessed these persons work through their struggles and live healthy, happy lives full of meaning. I am steady, yet compassionate and am committed to my client's healing.

As a Registered Play Therapist, I offer individual, sibling and family therapy services. I have worked with women, teens and children impacted by physical abuse, domestic violence, sexual abuse and secondary victimization. In addition, I have experience with a variety of child related difficulties including anxiety, depression, behavioral difficulties, family disruptions, foster care involvement, adjustment difficulties, self esteem difficulties and cognitive delays. As a Registered Play Therapist, I have a passion for utilizing play therapy to help children and adolescents find their full potential. As a certified eating disorders specialist (CEDS) candidate I work with children to adults in the recovery process because recovery is possible. Having someone to help navigate life's difficulties can help one develop positive, healthy coping strategies. Through this process I work with individuals, families, and parents.
