I believe in the true healing of the therapeutic process. Therapy allows for the exploration into why we have certain thoughts and emotions. It also helps to strengthen communication skills and has the potential to develop positive changes in relationships. Therapeutic exploration provides an opportunity to discover the root cause of emotional pain and learn how to heal from it. I believe it is important to create a safe space, free of judgment, where clients can feel heard, validated, and understood.
I feel blessed to be a part of the therapeutic process as clients explore themselves and their relationships at a deeper level and grow in self-awareness. I am currently an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, working under the supervision of Susan Amador, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have 13 years inpatient psychiatric therapy experience.
I am located at St. Joseph Counseling Center, a multi-therapist center, that was established in Fresno over 30 years ago and continues to serve many families and individuals of the San Joaquin Valley.
