Jacob works with adults and Cassidy works with people from age 6 and up. We only offer EMDR and focus on recovery from traumatic experiences, family interactions and past relationships. We are passionate about helping New Yorkers from all walks of life.
EMDR is not traditional talk therapy and is generally short term (15-25 sessions). We go through your trauma chronologically and then once we have a good idea of what the issues are, we move into the treatment phase of EMDR to remove traumatic responses from the nervous system.
Once finished many people move into traditional talk therapy, feeling more able to change and have different perspectives on themselves and those around them.
