I named my practice "The Journey Home", because life sometimes leaves us with a heartfelt longing for home....that safe place within us that settles our mind and calms our fears. I offer help to women experiencing depression, anxiety, abuse, grief, personality disorders, emotional problems and mental illness. After raising three children who are now navigating independence and owning a specialty restaurant, life experiences and the desire to give back to the community offering emotional support to women and girls prompted a career change. As a Licensed Professional Counselor I am able to provide that support.

I am certified in EMDR, trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming, can assist with anxiety, depression, anger management, OCD, ODD, Bipolar, & parenting issues, among others. I specialize in working with teens and young adults; I also work with adults. I assist clients in settings goals and taking steps toward achieving their goals. I am licensed in South Carolina and Montana and offer Teletherapy to clients in both states. I lived in Montana for 30 years and currently reside in Upstate South Carolina. In the process of analyzing your mind, we often encounter discomfort, which is a signal to keep going, never to give up on ourselves. Good therapeutic work is often messy in my experience, usually accompanied by tears and laughter (often in the same session, but no guarantees).
