As an infant and early childhood mental health(IECMH) professional, I have an understanding of family dynamics and relationship building at an individual & family level. As a marriage counselor, I share tools to help marriages thrive. With both populations, I use a strength-based, culturally sensitive and trauma informed approach.

Tiger counseling is all about helping people find the courage to change. We are not about making you feel judged or more ashamed. In the process of analyzing your mind, we often encounter discomfort, which is a signal to keep going, never to give up on ourselves. Good therapeutic work is often messy in my experience, usually accompanied by tears and laughter (often in the same session, but no guarantees). It is such a blessing to be able to provide a safe, caring, and supportive space for my clients where I can enable them to live a more productive and satisfying life, help cope with new situations, challenges, or emotions, promote good decision making skills and improve relationships. When working with individuals and families, my goal is to assist with improving interactions and conflicts with others, diagnose and treat psychological disorders, guide clients through crises, address problematic relational or behavioral patterns.

A guiding principle in working with any client is to see that person as a unique individual with strengths and potential far greater than the problem that has brought them to my door. My job is to tap into those strengths, to help you see your potential, and to support you in making the change you are seeking to achieve. I incorporate a holistic approach that looks at a client from a whole person, mind-body perspective, focusing on identifying relational, lifestyle, or cognitive changes that may be beneficial to reaching your identified goals.

My goal is your wellness- I provide individual counseling services to adults and adolescents (14+) who experience anxiety, depression, relationship issues, social anxiety, panic attacks, difficulty with life transitions, and vocation difficulties.
