I specialize in families going through difficult transitions of life including, pre-marital, marriage, separation and divorce counseling as well as remarriage and step family issues. I help parents focus on their children's needs at these choke points. As a 20 year veteran teacher, I am also uniquely qualified to help families struggling with ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities, or other educational issues. I also specialize in helping high conflict divorcing parents develop parenting plans by functioning as a Parenting Coordinator. I am also a qualified Family Court Mediator.

As a Christian counselor, I believe a person's problems and concerns can encompass their physical, mental, and spiritual health. My goal is to provide therapy that addresses a client's deeper issues and wounds not just their symptoms. I consider it important to provide a safe and supportive therapeutic environment to promote development, healing and growth. I have been a practicing Psychologist in the Charleston area since 1997. My office is located three blocks from the College of Charleston. Many of my client's are college students who display symptoms of anxiety and depression associated with difficulties adjusting to college life.
