Beginning therapy can feel difficult or come with a lot of unknown. That's why it is an honor for me to work with my clients and foster a space that is non-judgmental, warm, safe, and collaborative. I work with individuals who may want to explore topics like anxiety, emerging adulthood, experiencing life transitions, women's issues, those transitioning to a life with Type I diabetes, identify development, relationship (familial, friendship, romantic etc.) challenges and more.
My intentions for my clients are for them to feel supported, validated and also to feel inspired to set goals and allow for self-exploration. My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, strength-based and social justice focused. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities to best support my clients and their treatment needs.
Life is filled with tangles just like in a ball of yarn and when you’re in the tangles/knots, it can feel hard to undo it on your own. The therapeutic relationship is there to support you in undoing the tangles so that you can feel freed, empowered and understood in order to live your life to its potential. Looking forward to connecting with you!
